I love this picture. Jackson from Tasmania used a bird's wings with feathers rather than the usual leathery bat's wings. An interesting fact, a bird's wing is it's arm and a bat's wing is it's hand!
Jackson also sent in this dragon picture. It's a great use of colour. I like how he began with the light, yellow coloured pencil and shaded over the top with the darker green. There's really great detail work in the face. Jackson wins an original dragon painting by me, but I was never that good at his age!!
